Show, June 2024, Bristol School of Art (Copper, gilding metal and silver)

I grew up spending the summers with my grandparents on the remote island of Gotland, situated in the Baltic sea. We walked the rocky shoreline and always passed a stone labyrinth in the grass along the way. I was told if I ever had a problem I should walk the path and by the time I reached the end, I would have found a solution.

‘The ugly balls’

Show 2023, Bristol School of Art (Plastic, leather, textile, ceramic, copper, enamel)

The project started with the wish to work with found object and changing, reusing or upgrading them by adding new materials. A scruffy old football was beautified with textile tufting weaving and macramé. This lead to the making of a ceramic and metal ball and this series may continue growing.
